Our experienced auction specialists will carefully review your inquiry and search upcoming Japanese vehicle auctions to identify vehicles matching your requirements.

Japan's nationwide auction network operates Monday through Saturday, offering access to well over 100,000 vehicles every week across the country's leading auction houses.

Once suitable vehicles have been identified, we will provide auction information, official inspection sheets and available photographs before any bidding takes place.

Security Deposit

Before placing any bids on your behalf, a fully refundable security deposit is required.

The security deposit authorises Namco Japan to participate in the auction according to your approved maximum bidding amount.

If your selected vehicle is not successfully purchased, or if no bids are placed, your security deposit will be refunded in full. If your vehicle is successfully purchased, the security deposit will automatically be deducted from your final invoice.

Vehicle Selection & Auction Bidding

Once suitable vehicles have been identified, our team will provide you with the official auction inspection sheets, available photographs and vehicle information for your review.

After you have selected your preferred vehicle and confirmed your maximum bidding amount, our auction specialists will place bids strictly according to your authorised limit.

As soon as the auction concludes, we will immediately notify you of the result. If your bid is successful, we will issue a Proforma Invoice containing the complete payment details for your purchased vehicle. The remaining balance must be settled within the specified payment period before export preparations begin.

Estimated FOB Preparation Charges

What is FOB?

FOB (Free On Board) is an internationally recognised shipping term used in global trade. The FOB cost includes all necessary Japan-side preparation costs required before shipment, including auction-related charges, local consumption tax, export preparation, transportation to the port, documentation and handling.

Important Notice

The FOB costs shown above are estimated examples only and are provided to help customers understand the approximate Japan-side preparation costs involved. The final FOB quotation may vary depending on:

  • Auction location
  • Distance between auction house and departure port
  • Vehicle size and transportation requirements
  • Destination country requirements
  • Additional inspection requirements
  • Storage or handling requirements
For example, a Toyota Crown purchased from an auction in Osaka and exported through Yokohama Port will require additional inland transportation compared to a vehicle purchased near Tokyo.

Export Preparation & Shipping Arrangement

Following confirmation of your payment, we will begin preparing your vehicle for export.

This process includes arranging all necessary export documentation, completing any required inspections, coordinating customs export procedures and booking the earliest suitable vessel to your selected destination port.

Throughout this stage, our team carefully manages each step to ensure your vehicle is prepared and shipped in accordance with Japanese export regulations and the import requirements of your destination country.

Shipment Confirmation

Once your vehicle has been loaded onto the vessel, we will confirm the shipment details and provide you with the vessel information, shipping schedule and estimated arrival date at your destination port.

Our export team will continue to monitor the shipment and remain available to assist you with any questions throughout the transit period.

Export Documents & Vehicle Collection

After your vehicle has been successfully shipped, we will prepare and dispatch your original export documentation.

Your document package will typically include:

  • Export Certificate
  • Bill of Lading (B/L)
  • Commercial Invoice
  • Packing List
  • Any inspection certificates or additional documents required for your destination country

The original documents will be sent to you by international courier, enabling you or your customs clearing agent to complete the import process and collect your vehicle upon arrival at the destination port.
